We are so excited that you have decided to join us at our triathlon beginner’s clinic. It is going to be a great weekend where you will learn all you need to know and gain the confidence to complete your first triathlon. The two days are going to be action packed and we’ll have your head buzzing by the end of it!
We will be in touch with you before the course kicks off but in the meantime here is a list of everything you will need to bring:
- Swim cap and goggles;
- Bike helmet;
- Bike shoes (or running shoes);
- Bike (mountain, hybrid, road it doesn’t matter);
- Running shoes;
- Water bottle; and
- A sense of adventure!
The current schedule is below but please note we may need to change around a couple of sessions depending on our experts availability.
Day One – Saturday
7:00 – 9:00am Bike skills
9:00 – 9:45am Training principles seminar
9:45 – 10:00am Morning Tea
10:00 – 11:00am Equipment and what to wear
11:00 – 12:00pm Transition skills
Day Two – Sunday
7:00 – 8:00am Run technique
8:00 – 9:30am Pilates and strength training
9:30 – 10:00am Morning Tea
10:00 – 11:00 am Nutrition for training and racing seminar
11:00 – 12:30 pm Swim technique including video analysis
If you are bringing along any kids please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know. There will be an additional cost for any bookings with the onsite creche plus we’ll need to make sure we have the space planned out to entertain them during the seminars.
